Accounts Clerk

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for keying in suppliers’ payment vouchers, goods received notes (GRN), stock transfers, receiving goods, checking and inputting finished goods data, and other duties as assigned. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Input suppliers’ payment vouchers accurately and in a timely manner.

Key in goods received notes (GRN) to update inventory records.

Record stock transfers between locations to maintain accurate stock levels.

Receive incoming goods, verify contents, and update inventory systems.

Check and accurately input data for finished goods to ensure inventory records are up to date.

Assist in warehousing tasks (goods inwards and outwards) when the store hand is absent.

Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as required by management.

Qualifications:

Basic accounting knowledge is a top priority for this role.

Proven experience in accounting or data entry roles.

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
