Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities:
1. Visual Merchandising & Product Placement Arrangements:
• Create visually appealing displays to showcase products and attract customer attention.
• Determine optical product placement to maximize sales.
• Maintain retail store shelves by providing optimum display of company products, tidying in-store shelves and removing damaged stock.
• Ensure products are arranged logically and aesthetically.
2. Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and overstock situations.
• Maintain inventory by restocking shelves.
• Monthly stock take.
• Observing inventory levels of customers and prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low.
• To observe customer and report observations to the manager.
• To maintain merchandising strategies to support sales goals.
• Keep updates/records on inventory and stock movement.
3. Market Trends, Analysis:
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, promotions and customer preferences.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.
• Understand product performance and customer feedback.
4. Provide regular photos and feedback on our products/activities, and share store and display issues, and competitor’s activities to Sales.



Requirement:
1. Proven experience as a Merchandiser in food products industry is an advantage.
2. Good communication and observation skills.
3. Comfort with systems – PC knowledge in MS Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
4. Able to work independently and meet the deadlines.
5. Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers.
6. Demonstrate basic knowledge in assigned territories/products/services and strong merchandising skills.
7. Must have motorcycle license and able to ride motorcycle.
