Key responsibilities:
Front desk management:
* Greet and assist patients in a professional, positive and helpful manner.
* Registering patient’s check-in and check-out.
* Manage and schedule appointments of patients.
* Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries as necessary.
* Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality all the time.
* Maintain reception area in a neat and presentable condition.
Administrative:
* Perform clerical tasks
* Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
* Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and forms.
* Manage inventory and supplies in the clinic
* Process billing and insurance/panel claims
* Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Clinic Support:
* Assist doctor during patient consultations and procedures
* Dispense medications accurately as prescribed by doctors
* Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and clean exam rooms after visits
* Sterilise medical instruments
* Perform other simple medical tasks as and when required
Requirements
* Works well in a team
* Minimum SPM/STPM or equivalent
* Proficiency in using computer systems and office software
* Willing to learn new skills
* Experience as Clinic Assistant is added advantage
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
* Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
* Good command in Bahasa Melayu and English
Additional advantage
* Conversing in mandarin/ cantonese
* Knowledge on basic accounting
* Familiar with administrative and clinical tasks in a GP environment
