ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Troubleshoot mechanical /electrical equipment problems and ensures compliance to manufacturer specifications.
• To plan for machine preventive maintenance
• To plan for spare parts availability (critical spare parts)
• Drive and support plant productivity improvement plan.
• Improve production material yield
• Drive cost of good reduction initiative, projects and programs.
• Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities. Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and wastage.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions
• Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
• Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
• Advises Manager of staff opportunities
• Recommends policy and procedural changes
• Responsible for training, evaluating, motivating and disciplining of staff
• Proactively identifies process and technical improvements that will minimize incidents and disruptions, reduce costs, and improve capacity and availability
• Managing man power in daily basis attendance and lead morning briefings
REQUIREMENTS :
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering field
• Min 3 years’ experience in Production/Manufacturing/Engineering department
• Must be able to work on a 4 on 2 shift pattern or as decided by the management
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance technical SOP
• The ability to work extra hours and/or beyond the regular schedule to complete work assignments is required
• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, take ownerships and accountability.
• Proficient in English language (written/spoken)
